Young and Wanted

Craaaack! Cra-a-a-a-ck!
The hard shell broke
The young emerged
Glamorous and precious

The mother smiled
Overwhelmed with joy
At long last; the incubation period
had ended with delight
What is the name of the newborn?
“Democracy!!” Exclaimed the mother
With Glee
The hungry lion salivated
Wishing to make his feast from the young one

The Eagles, Hawks and Vultures flocked around the scene
The Owl was hopeful that it would
get its chance when the night fell
The jackal in sheep skin tried to sneak into the scene
He had no chance because even the Sheep
had no chance

The mother, cautiously pampered the baby
The news spread like wild fire
Admirers and Supporters came from around the world
To re-enforce the security and welfare
of the youngone

STAY ALLERT!
The enemies have not surrendered
They are gathering behind the fence
Looking for the weak spot
Where they can pierce the hole
Get in and destroy the baby

Love

Love is a song that is sung by a duet of two hearts
It cannot be heard by anyone except the singers themselves
The lyrics are in the actions
The blending is in the feeling between the two

The beat is given by the love pulse that connects the two
The conductor is the eyes
and words are the accompaniment
The tune is maintained by mutual respect

The resonance is in commitment
The sustainment is in understanding
The pitch is faithfulness
And the audience is the lovers themselves

Love is a story that cannot be told
the book of which cannot be read by anyone
One needs special eyes to read the book
Those are the eyes of love

You cannot hear the love story
Unless you have the ears of love
You may not understand love
Unless you have the brain of love

Love can only be tasted by those with love taste buds
Love can only be felt by loving hearts
Love cannot be stolen or disposed of
Love can be fragile, Handle with care!

The secret

When I see you, I know you don’t know
You don’t know that I know
I know something you don’t know
I know something you think I don’t know

You can look at me
but you cannot see it
You can touch me
but you cannot feel it

In the middle of the night, when everyone is fast asleep
I am wide awake
Thinking about the secret
How long will I endure this torment?

Should I tell or not?
Why must I tell?
Whom should I tell?
When should I tell?

What will happen if I tell my secret?
Will anyone listen to me?
Will anyone believe me?
Will anyone ever trust me again?

For how long will I keep the secret
So long I have kept the secret
So long I have not told anyone
So long I have endured the torment of my secret

But now, Secret my bosom friend
You no longer want to stay in my bosom
You no longer need me as your friend
You have turned into my enemy

Oh! My Secret my friend
Why do you want to leave me?
Will anyone accept me when you dump me?
You have turned my life into misery

Why must I keep you
when you no longer need me?
I have lived with you for so many years
How will I live after parting ways with you?

But finally, I will have to let you go
Eventually I will cut ties with you
At last I will set myself free from your iron grip
Finally they will know that I knew

Oh! Please leave me in peace
Get out of my life
I know there’s life after you
You! Cruel Secret, leave me alone

I can live happily without you
There will be new life without you
Oh! At last I could let my years’ secret out
Now I am free!

The poor man's son

He did not choose to be
His parent’s fate made him to be
He is the heir to his father’s misfortunes
That is how the world judges him
His potential is limited to his father’s
That is what the world expects of him

He and poverty are inseparable
That is how the word views him
Buttered bread is his dream food
Attending a decent school is his wish
though he knows it is far away
That is what the world imposes to him

Look at his bare feet crushing the frost
as he climbs the mountain to his supposed nearest school
Only insane person would call that a school before seeing
those little unfortunate ones emerging from it
Hungry as he is, he is determined to learn
That is what the world offers him

Look at his eyes; they are appealing for justice
To free him from the tight grip of the claws of misery
cast upon by merciless history makers
He finds it difficult to detach from his past
because he cannot connect to the future
That is what the world gives him.

Success

You are the most invited
You are the most loved
You are the most admired
You are the most wanted

They say you are found at the top of the mountain
But others find you right at its foot
They say the road to your house is rough and twisty
But others find it smooth and straight

Success comes to those who have access to the excess
Yes, those with access to the excess of perseverance
Success is not looking for everyone
But everyone is looking for success

You bring tears of joy to those who taste you
You bring tears of sorrow to those who don’t
You bring excitement when you come
You delegate disappointment when you are delayed

Success, where are you?
I sometimes think you are far
when you are just hiding behind me
I hope we will meet one day.

The Love Lightning

It was the loneliest day of my life
Wandering the streets of my lonely town
Not really sure of what I was looking for
But I knew I had something to look for

The cloud from the horizon emerged
So beautiful and so silver
Quickly covered the whole town
Nothing else was visible except the shining beauty

I could hear the rumble of thunder
Sounded much like love panic
I felt the drops of rain on my forehead
Was it rain drops or sweat?

I stood still and dumb
Stricken by the love lightning
My tongue so electrocuted
So much that I couldn’t utter a word

It happened so soon, so fast
There was no eye witness except my eyes
Could anyone bring Rescue? No!
Rescue had come by herself

The Angel in the love cloud
You are my Rescue, You are my love
You are my present, you are my future
You are my everything, You are my world.

My Cellular Phone

Life without you has become unimaginable
Where were you all along
Did I know that I was missing someone special
Till you came in, and then I knew
You bring good news to me
But you also do not refuse to bring bad news
They used you to tell me they love me so much
They also used you to tell me they don’t love me anymore
Should I call you friend or foe
Must I love or hate you
Will I take or leave you
Taking you seems to be the best option
I use you to tell them good news
You also let me tell them bad news
You have become so much a part of my life
Or I better say part of myself
You are so trustworthy
You wake me up when I told you to
You remind me of important events
You give me the right time when I need it
But you mercilessly cut me off when I forget to recharge you
Is it because I ignored your warning beeps
I know why you do that
You teach me to take care of those who care for me
You teach me not to be selfish
And not to forget those who do not forget me
You teach me honesty
You teach me to appreciate
You have committed your life to serving me
I mean one hundred percent commitment
You serve till you die
I wish I were like you, giving hundred percent commitment to my duties.

The shadow

My shadow, my companion
My shadow, my true friend
You are always there for me
Even though I can’t see you sometimes
But I know you are there
In darkness I’m tempted to think you have deserted me
But I know you are there
In light you show up
To show me that you are still with me
My shadow, my friend
I know you won’t leave me
Through troubles, through sorrows
You have been with me
When I laugh, you laugh with me
When I cry, you cry with me
When I forget who am I
You remind me
When I forget my image
You show me
You will always be my best friend while on this earth
And I know that when I die
you are the only one prepared to lie with me in my grave
My shadow, my friend
You are my real friend.
